A quick guide on how to confirm the water loss

  • Go out to your water meter and take a photo of the numbers (if you have a new digital meter please see our resource section on the website for information on how to read your meter)

  • Wait 15 minutes without using anything and then go back out to the meter, take another photo and compare the numbers. If the numbers have moved, there is a loss of water

  • Multiply the difference in numbers by 4 to work out how many liters an hour you are losing
